Zerodha’s Kite is used by millions of investors every day to research and execute financial decisions. Replacing its existing fundamentals layer previously powered by Tickertape was a high-impact change that went far beyond visuals.
The task was to redefine how users evaluate stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, and indices inside live trading flows, while preserving speed, trust, and familiarity. A completely new fundamentals system powered by Tijori had to be introduced without disrupting established user behaviour.
At the same time, complex financial data including company metrics, ratios, fund details, and index insights needed to be distilled into compact, scannable widgets. Each component had to feel lightweight and fast, yet accurate and credible enough to replace an established provider,
THE IMPACT
Our design became the new fundamentals layer inside Zerodha’s Kite, now used by 8+ million active investors daily to evaluate stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, and indices.
By transitioning to a Tijori-powered system, users gained faster access to clearer, more structured financial insights-without leaving their trading interface. The redesigned widgets improved scanability, reduced cognitive load, and introduced consistency across all asset types.
The result: complex financial information transformed into confident, everyday decision-making inside one of India’s most widely used trading apps.
